Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, and protect your information.

Last updated: June 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how BrightSide Offers ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit our website, submit a form, call or text us, or otherwise interact with our services. By using our website or providing your information, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

What Information Do We Collect?

We collect information you provide directly to us — such as your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and property details — when you fill out a form, subscribe to our newsletter, request an offer, or contact us. We also automatically collect technical information about your device and visit, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, and timestamps. This information is collected through cookies, pixels, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies, including Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel.

When you order or register on our site, we may ask you to provide your name, email address, mailing address, or phone number. However, you can visit our site anonymously. If BrightSide Offers is acquired by or merged with another company, we will notify you before transferring your information, which will become subject to a different privacy policy.

How Do We Use Your Information?

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To evaluate your property, prepare and present cash offers, and complete transactions.
  • To contact you by phone, SMS/text message, or email about your inquiry and our services.
  • To send periodic emails, updates, and marketing communications you may opt out of at any time.
  • To improve our website, services, and customer experience.
  • To measure and improve the performance of our advertising on Google, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), and other platforms.
  • To prevent fraud, enforce our Terms of Use, and comply with applicable law.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, SDKs, and similar tracking technologies to recognize your browser or device, remember your preferences, analyze traffic, and deliver relevant advertising. This includes the Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tracking, and similar tools. You can disable cookies in your browser settings or opt out of interest-based advertising through the resources listed in the "Your Advertising Choices" section below. Disabling cookies may limit some features of the website.

How Do We Protect Your Information?

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Do We Disclose Any Information to Outside Parties?

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share information with:

  • Trusted service providers who help us operate our website, communicate with you, process transactions, host data, or analyze website performance (e.g., hosting providers, CRM, email/SMS providers, title companies, attorneys).
  • Advertising and analytics partners, including Google and Meta, who help us measure and deliver advertising. These partners may receive limited information (such as hashed identifiers, page-view events, and conversion events) through pixels and tags.
  • Law enforcement, regulators, or other parties when required by law, to enforce our Terms of Use, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of BrightSide Offers, our users, or others.
  • A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or a portion of our business.

Advertising on Google and Meta

We advertise on Google (including Google Search, YouTube, and the Google Display Network) and on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram). We and our advertising partners use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies — including the Meta Pixel and Google Ads tags — to:

  • Measure the performance of our ads and campaigns;
  • Show you ads on third-party websites and platforms based on your prior visits to our site (remarketing/retargeting); and
  • Create "custom audiences" and "lookalike audiences" of users similar to our existing visitors.

Information shared with these partners is governed by their own privacy policies. You can review and control how Google and Meta use information about you here:

Your Advertising Choices

You can opt out of interest-based advertising from many participating companies through the Digital Advertising Alliance, the Network Advertising Initiative, and, for mobile devices, by adjusting the "Limit Ad Tracking" (iOS) or "Opt out of Ads Personalization" (Android) settings on your device.

SMS / Text Message Communications (TCPA)

By providing your phone number on a form, by phone, or via SMS, you expressly consent to receive calls and text messages (including via autodialer and prerecorded or artificial voice) from BrightSide Offers at the number provided regarding your inquiry, your property, our services, appointments, follow-ups, and related marketing. Consent is not a condition of any purchase, sale, or service.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time and HELP for assistance, or contact us at (469) 402-3375. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Your mobile information (phone number) and consent to receive SMS will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to: (i) know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and "share" (as defined under the CCPA/CPRA); (ii) request a copy of your personal information; (iii) request that we correct or delete your personal information; (iv) opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising; and (v) not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights.

We do not sell personal information for money. However, our use of advertising cookies and pixels (such as the Meta Pixel and Google Ads tags) may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. To opt out, email us at contact@brightsideoffers.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information," or call (469) 402-3375.

Texas Privacy Rights (TDPSA)

BrightSide Offers is based in and primarily conducts business in Texas. Under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA), Texas residents have the right to: (i) confirm whether we are processing their personal data and access that data; (ii) correct inaccuracies in their personal data; (iii) request deletion of their personal data; (iv) obtain a portable copy of their personal data; and (v) opt out of the processing of their personal data for purposes of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, or profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

Notice of Sale / Targeted Advertising: We may "sell" personal data (as broadly defined under the TDPSA) and process personal data for targeted advertising through our use of advertising cookies and pixels such as the Meta Pixel and Google Ads tags. To exercise any of your rights, including the right to opt out of targeted advertising or the sale of your personal data, email us at contact@brightsideoffers.com with the subject line "Texas Privacy Request," or call (469) 402-3375. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our response within a reasonable time.
